Three Cheers For The Red White And Blue - Garrick Theatre Altrincham

Three Cheers For The Red White And Blue, Sale and Altrincham Musical Theatre’s latest show, is flawless in every respect. The company is in fine voice, all the characters are beautifully realised and the dance routines are so slick they wouldn’t look out of place on a professional stage. So said Mr Rick Bowen and who are we to disagree!!

Sam Theatre Christmas Party - 11th December 2009 at Bardsley Hall. 7.30pm onwards.

Why not come along to Sam Theatre's Christmas Party. There will be mulled wine, a bar and a special Christmas raffle. Dont forget to put your thinking cap on as there is a quiz that starts at 8pm. The cost for this evening of festive merryment is a mere £3.00 (which includes refreshments) This is also another great opportunity to help the postman save on physio fees (and saving a few quid on postage) by handing out your Christmas cards. Chess - October 2010 at Altrincham Garrick Theatre.

Chess the musical tells the story of US-Soviet rivalry and a love triangle formed by the American and Russian champions and the Hungarian-American female chess second. Just in case that doesn't complicate things enough, the Russian champion plans on defecting to the West, and the Hungarian-American female chess second who arrives at the international championships with the American, then falls in love with the Russian. From Bangkok to Budapest, the players, lovers, politicians and spies all struggle to get the upper-hand in this fascinating story with fantastic songs such as "One Night in Bangkok", "Heaven Help my Heart", "Anthem" and the favourite "I Know Him So Well".
